News: Which Way Wednesday - 3 February 2010
Invitation and information received from Vicky England, Chorley Parent Support Advisor for the Which Way Wednesday Event
I would like to invite you along to the Which Way Wednesday event taking place on the 3rd February 2010 at Woodlands in Chorley.
Which Way Wednesday has been developed to help all people who work with parents know more on the different services, and services providers, available in Chorley and other districts across Lancashire. There will be a large variety of different agencies and individuals to talk to directly on the day (including new services that have recently started) and also taster sessions on courses that are, or will be, run for parents. These are Positive Parenting,Time Out for Anger and Surviving Teenagers.
Attached are the flyer (which includes information on attending stall holders) and poster for the event which have the agenda for the day included. Printed flyers are available and if you would like some please contact me and I will arrange a suitable time to drop these off. The agenda for the day is also at the end of this email.
Everyone is invited to the event whether they work directly or indirectly, or are starting to work, with parents in any capacity. Please do circulate the attached and help promote this event to ensure that it has the greatest impact possible for all those involved in the ever changing and challenging field of supporting and helping parents and families.
Please note that all the stalls are booked for the day however if you would like the opportunity to let people know about your own organisation there will be an area set aside for this.

10:00 - Event Opens
Organisations and service providers will be available all through the day.
11:00-11:30 - Positive Parenting Taster and Information Session
13:00-13:30 - Time Out for Anger Taster and Information Session
15:00-15:30 - Surviving Teenagers Taster and Information session
17:00 - Event Closes
