News: TENDER FOR THE PROVISION OF SOCIAL CARE SUPPORT SERVICES FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH OR AFFECTED BY HIV/AIDS IN LANCASHIRE AND BLACKBURN WITH DARWEN
Lancashire County Council in partnership with Blackburn with Darwen Care Trust Plus is committed to developing social care services for people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS across their geographical boundaries. Applications are invited from suitably qualified organisations to deliver or subcontract delivery of local services in each of the current three PCT footprints.
In Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen, commissioners have ensured HIV/AIDS social care service provision are streamlined in terms of the number of contracts and providers working in the County and borough. The commissioning aims are to increase the efficiency of the contract and performance monitoring whilst maintaining comprehensive and equitable services of a high quality across the County. The objective is to maintain a county-wide provision supported by a single contract whilst ensuring that core provision is locally accessible.
