News: Community Brokerage Tender

Lancashire County Council invites suitably experienced organisations to provide a Community Brokerage service across Lancashire.

The successful organisation will be required to work in partnership with Lancashire County Council and other stakeholders to develop and implement the Community Brokerage service model, which will comprise of the following components:

 

1. Development of the community brokerage model in Lancashire and the development and management of a network of sub-contracted community organisations to deliver community brokerage;

 

2. Development and administration of a quality accreditation scheme for community organisations within the network which choose to offer additional chargeable support services directly to personal budget holders;

 

3. Provision of employment advice, information and support to people who choose to become employers of personal assistants;

 

4. Direct provision of support planning and associated practical support services for new personal budget holders to enable them to develop and implement a support plan;

 

5. Provision of support planning and associated practical support services for personal budget holders to community organisations within the network through sub-contracting arrangements.

Providers wishing to tender for this service are required to complete a tender questionnaire via the e-tendering website.

Providers who are already registered on the e-tendering website will be able to access the questionnaire by logging in to the website. Providers who are not currently registered on the e-tendering website will need to go to the above web address and register as a new user.

 

Interested providers will have the opportunity to attend an information day; further details regarding is given below.

 

Questionnaires must be completed and returned electronically via the e-tendering website by 10am on Friday 30th November 2012.

Interested providers are invited to an information session on Friday 16 November at 9.30am to be held at East Cliff County Offices, Preston.
