Integrated Home Improvement Service

The Council is harmonising the way in which Home Improvement Services are commissioned across the county.  The aim is to provide an integrated service that places outcomes and well-being at the core, better meets the needs of Lancashire's citizens and prevents the high number of falls currently experienced across the county.

The scope of the new service model will cover 5 elements initially*:

1. Healthy Home Assessment

2. Handyperson services

3. Core Home Improvement Agency

4. Minor Adaptations services

5. Retailer of small items of equipment

* Further elements may be added to the model (i.e. warm homes initiatives) subject to funding

This presents an exciting opportunity to be part of the recommissioning process in reshaping Home Improvement services in Lancashire.

Further information on how to tender, including accessing the Tender Questionnaire is available at the Council's e-tendering website.

You will need to register to access the documents but full details of the registration process are also on the website.

Questionnaires must be completed and returned electronically via the e-tendering website by 10am on 30 January 2015.
