09.07.10 - Preston woman wins big in gadget giveaway

Preston woman wins big in gadget giveaway

A woman from Preston has won a batch of car gadgets and goodies after entering a competition in a road safety magazine.

Lynn Needham entered the competition in Roadlife, a magazine which is produced by Lancashire County Council's Road Safety Group. Prizes included a satellite navigation system, handirack, digital air compressor, parking sensor, car games book and a child's suitcase from Trunki, which were all donated to the Group for the competition.

The free annual magazine contains celebrity interviews, real life stories, competitions and road safety advice and is distributed across Lancashire.

Lynn said: "I picked up Roadlife at my dentist and read it front to back. It was a pleasure to read and I picked up loads of advice, such as what to do if your car breaks down on the motorway and you can't reach the hard shoulder."

"I am over the moon to win all the prizes, the sat nav and handirack will come in especially useful as I am going on holiday soon. I am also looking forward to giving the Trunki to my granddaughter when she is born."
